What this module does for you
- Controls all the actions carried out by customers and visitors in your shop to act accordingly.
- Knows which elements of your shop are being used and which are not.
The events are user interactions with the content that can be tracked independently of a web page or a screen load.
Downloads, clicks on ads for mobile devices, gadgets, Flash elements, embedded AJAX elements, and video views are examples of actions that you can track as events.
Being aware of the events that occur in your store can be very useful to act accordingly.
For example, if we have placed a banner in the right column of the store and we observe that no one clicks with time, we can make the decision to remove it and look for other solutions for customers and visitors to continue browsing the shop.
In order to use this module in your shop it is necessary to have installed the Google Analytics module that PrestaShop facilitates for free. You can find it in the module section of your shop. It must be installed and configured with the tracking identifier. You must also have access to your Google Analytics account to see the events that occur in your shop.
By default, this module adds the capture of some events that are working correctly in a classic PrestaShop template.
By default, the following events are captured:
- Language selection in the header.
- Click on the link to login from the header.
- Click on the link to close session of the header.
- Click on the link of the customer account.
- Click on the shopping cart link of the header.
- Click on the shop logo.
- Click on any element of the main menu.
- Click on the search button.
- Click on some link of the main carousel or slider.
- Click on button to register in the newsletter of the footer.
If you have installed another theme in your store other than the classic theme of PrestaShop, it is very likely that you have to make some modification in the capture of these events.
The code that can be added is unlimited. You can add all the event captures you need.
Transparently to the administrator of the site, this module also captures the level of scroll measured in percentage that the client or visitor makes in your shop.

First of all, click “Add new module” at modules tab on back office. You will find it in the top right. After that, select packaged file you have downloaded and click “Upload file”. Now your module appears on modules list. Click on “Install”, and “Configure” next.
You can also unload .zip file and upload it into your modules directory. In this way you will install and configure module from modules admin.
It is very important that you thoroughly review all the documentation of the products we sell, try the demonstration and ask us any questions you have before making the purchase because product returns are not allowed, since it is non-encrypted software and it is not a tangible product.
