Manufacturer carousel finally available free for PrestaShop 1.7

New version 1.4.0 of the manufacturer carousel module where we highlight its compatibility with PrestaShop 1.7 and the considerable improvement of the configuration page.

In this update we have created 2 different versions for this module to be able to work specifically for each version independently and obtain a higher quality of the module. Now it is available for PrestaShop 1.6 and for PrestaShop 1.7. It is no longer functional for PrestaShop 1.5.

Previously this module used the plugin jquery.carouFredSel to show the carousel of manufacturers but, in this version we have decided to change it and now we use the owl.carousel plugin. Much lighter and adaptable to all devices more easily and with more customization possibilities.

The author of this module is now JA MODULES, a company that now takes care of all the modules developed by Jose Aguilar.

We have improved the configuration of this module by adding more information and enabling a button to see more modules of the same author, a link to qualify the purchase and get a discount for the next purchase and a link to the change history.

The configuration form is now simpler and easier to understand for the administrator since we have improved the usability and we have simplified the options but allowing more possibilities regarding the positioning of the carousel in the store. Now it is possible to position it in 3 positions. In the top column, in the content of the main page and in the footer.

From the configuration now you can also enable the block title and the name of the manufacturer.

Now this module uses the helper form that enables PrestaShop to create forms within the Backoffice.

On the front, the alt attribute has been added to all the manufacturers' images.

From this version the module is translated into Spanish, Argentine, Mexican, Colombian, Peruvian and Venezuelan.

All the coding errors indicated in the validator of PrestaShop Addons have been corrected as far as possible.
