JA Marketplace Seller Categories new version 2.0.0

Important update of the module that allows the seller to add categories in the marketplace. We highlight the adaptation to PrestaShop 1.7 and JA Marketplace 7.x.

In this update important changes have been made that affect both the front and the Backoffice, in which we highlight the adaptation with some of the new features of PrestaShop 1.7 and the new features of JA Marketplace 7.

The author of this module has been updated. It now belongs to the JA Modules company.

The description has been updated considering the new features that have been added.

PrestaShop version compatibility added. Version 2.0.0 functional in PrestaShop 1.7 onwards.

The logo of this module has been updated.

Added tab system in module configuration to divide content into help and information, configuration and related modules.

Now the 'displayMarketplaceMenuOptions' hook is being used to allow sellers to access category management from the options menu that can be enabled on the side of the marketplace pages.

Some visual aspects were adapted to the new version of JA Marketplace 7.

Now the new getBreadcrumbLinks() function is being used in PrestaShop 1.7 to generate the breadcrumbs of the pages that this module adds in your shop.

The 'page_title' block is now being used to add the H1 tag to the seller's category list.

Now in the sellers category table you can do the hover effect to highlight a row.

Added the seller-account-footer template available in JA Marketplace 7 for the seller category list footer.

The init() function has been added in the controller that allows displaying the categories in the seller's account in order to control access.

The 'add' driver has been removed. Its functions were unified and made available in the 'view' controller.

The form that allows adding a category now opens in a modal window.

2 levels of security have been added to access the seller categories page with a unique token for each seller generated by the main JA Marketplace module.

The .tpl template code has been divided into parts to have a better control of the code and to be able to carry a better maintenance.

Added a confirmation message when the seller adds a new category.

This module now automatically enables the category created by the seller in the category tree of the product edition.

Now the seller has the ability to add an image for the category.

Now the seller can edit their category after creating it.

The meta titles and meta descriptions are automatically filled with the name and part of the category description so as not to leave them empty.
