JA Marketplace PayPal Parallel payments new version 2.0.8

PayPal's adaptive payments are now a limited launch product. Only selected partners can carry out this type of solution for your customers.

Adaptive Payments is now a limited release product. It is restricted to select partners for approved use cases and should not be used for new integrations without guidance from PayPal.

Currently JA Modules is a PayPal partner for this type of solution.

The solution of PayPal parallel payments that we have implemented for our JA Marketplace module has undergone changes to adapt to this measure.

The BN code has been added. The BN codes (or generation notation codes) are sent to the solution partners (shopping carts, e-commerce platforms, etc.) for inclusion in the integration of the products as a parameter that is transmitted during a transaction . BN codes allow keeping a record of all transactions originated or associated with a specific partner.

Considering the limitations established by PayPal, now this payment method does not appear for the customer when there are no sellers products in the shopping cart. In the case of only having products owned by the market, this method does not work.

It also disappears when there are more than 5 different sellers involved in the shopping cart. PayPal does not allow this type of payments for more than 6 recipients.
