Important update of the Customization Prices module new version 1.7.0

New version 1.7.0 of the custom fields module with price where we have fixed several functionality themes and we have created 2 versions. One for PrestaShop 1.5 and for PrestaShop 1.6.

In this update we have created 2 different versions for this module to be able to work specifically for each version independently and obtain a higher quality of the module. We still have to make the version for Prestashop 1.7.x. We are working on it. We will need more time. We hope to get it out this year.

In this version we have corrected an important problem that only occurs sometimes and is that in a product with combinations, when the user does not click on the 'Customize now' button that is below the price table of the customizations, when filling the custom fields did not transfer the chosen combination to the cart. This only worked correctly when clicking on the 'Customize now' button. This has changed and now whether you click on the 'Customize now' button or not, fill in the custom fields and add to the cart the chosen combination and custom fields to the cart.

All the coding errors indicated in the validator of PrestaShop Addons have been corrected as far as possible.

The postProcess () function has been added to control all the forms of the module configuration.

We have added an option that allows you to eliminate customizations made by catalog clients. If this option is enabled, the removal process will be executed for each validated order. Only those customizations that have already been requested or that are no longer in a cart are eliminated.

Now it is possible to add an image for the customizations. This image appears in the shopping cart, in the order and in the invoice. If you do not specify any images, the default image that PrestaShop has for your products will be established. Something like Image not available.

We have improved the configuration of this module by adding more information and enabling a button to contact, see more modules of it, a link to qualify the purchase and get a discount for the next purchase and a link to the change history.

Now the configuration is displayed in tab format. A section appears to fill the prices of the personalized fields, another section for the general configuration and another one for more information and contact.
