We update the Fotorama Photo and Video Gallery to version 1.9.0

In our Fotorama Photo and Video Gallery module we have made an update in which important improvements have been added. We invite you to get to know them for your interest and thus improve your online business.

In this new version it is now possible to position a gallery in any position in your shop.

The hooks on the product page allow you to choose which products will have the gallery on your page.

The hooks on the categories page allow you to choose which categories will have the gallery on your page.

Now the 'displayFotoramaGallery' hook can be used to hook galleries on the chosen CMS pages.

This means an important change in this aspect that you should consider before updating since they are changes that may affect to how you can be using Fotorama at this time.

For that reason, we recommend that you update only if these changes will be beneficial for your shop.

In the module configuration a new option was added that allows enabling the possibility of replacing the product photos with the Fotorama gallery.

Enabling this option is ideal if you have not just been convinced by the classic gallery that PrestaShop has by default for the products and you want to change it to the Fotorama gallery.

The 'View' button was added to the Backoffice gallery list where now the administrator can load an infinite number of images by dragging and dropping, he can choose multiple images from the computer, delete, enable or disable and move to change the position of the elements.

In short, a more dynamic and faster management of the elements or slides that have the gallery added.

Important changes will be added in the definition of the dynamic routes of the galleries with the main objective of generating your link more easily.

In the installation of this module, tabs or new links are created in the administration side menu. The function to create the tabs in Spanish and English has been optimized.

On the front page of a gallery, the white background of the gallery container has been removed.

For security reasons, gallery image names are now logged with a jump handled with sha1 encoding.

Added functionality to allow duplication of images and galleries in admin controllers.

Functionality with the multi-store system has been improved by adding the shopLinkType features in the admin controllers.
