When the client arrives at the page of the shopping cart or payment gateway, an informative message and a countdown appears that indicates to the client that he must formalize his order before a time established in order to reserve the purchase for another user.
This message appears throughout the purchase process.
You can complete your order in 10 minutes. Once this time has elapsed, the reservation we are saving so that other users can buy will be released.
What happens if the time comes to an end and the order has not been made?
The cart is emptied and redirected to the main page.
From the configuration of this module it is possible to:
- Indicate the number of hours that the cart will be reserved for the customer.
- Indicate the number of minutes that the cart will be reserved for the customer.
- Indicate the date of the cart that must be considered for the countdown, date of creation or date of update.
(*) Very easy installation and configuration
First of all, click “Add new module” at modules tab on back office. You will find it in the top right. After that, select packaged file you have downloaded and click “Upload file”. Now your module appears on modules list. Click on “Install”, and “Configure” next.
You can also unload .zip file and upload it into your modules directory. In this way you will install and configure module from modules admin.
